The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, being minutes from the ferries and many restaurants and shops. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good. The luggage lift was helpful. Some of our favourite places nearby were the Lanterna restaurant, Kayak Sorrento, and lunch at the Pergola, Hotel Bellevue Syrene.

We appreciated the centralized location of this precious boutique hotel to the main pedestrian street in Sorrento with lovely shops, cafes and restaurants immediately accessible. The owner Luciana was delightful and her staff (specifically Alexandria and Maria) were so warm and welcoming that we felt at home immediately. Our rooms were clean and bright, my mother’s had a balcony with a beautiful view including a birds eye view to the street below, fun for people watching. The breakfast offered was exceptional! They offer a wide range of healthy and delicious choices, with eggs made to preference and rich and creamy cappuccinos. We cannot express in mere words the collective senses of well being that Palazzo Starace offers. One must experience personally. Brava!

The location of this hotel was great, a few minutes from Piazza Tasso and nearby cafes and shops. The breakfast was brilliant and the hosts were very charming and prepared freshly made eggs for us on request. The hosts were very caring and attentive and as we were there with our elderly father , 91 (and who become unwell during the stay) they were excellent in their attentivness towards us and I couldnt be more grateful to Luciana at reception as she went out of her way to assist me.

The location of this hotel, adjacent to Corso Italia, is excellent. Our room overlooked Corso Italia and had a lovely balcony. The street is teeming with people late into the evening, so if you don’t enjoy that type of hustle and bustle, ask for a room that is not overlooking the street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our host, Maria, was super friendly and spoke good English. The breakfasts and the breakfast crew were also excellent.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a very very very high ceiling. Bathroom… we have never seen anything like this big, almost as big as the room itself. The room was neat and the bed was huge and confortable.

Breakfast was excellent. Loved the choices on the continental breakfast that was readily available, but also enjoyed the cook to order egg option. Nice to be able to have something “hot” vs just cold items. Rooms were spacious and clean and each room had a “theme color” - nice touch. Location is great. Close to train / bus station, restaurants and bars and only a few steps to the cathedral. Staff was awesome — especially Luciana and Alejandra. Entire team was attentive, friendly and very helpful. 🤩

Our visit was highlighted by the staff’s great service and extraordinary care. Our room was always clean and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff— and in particular Maria at the check in desk-was always friendly, professional and went above and beyond the norm to assist with any problems and provide an excellent stay.

Good location right at the main pedestrian area, lots of shops and restaurants. Short walk to the beach area although it is a steep walk down and up if you choose to walk. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the balcony was very nice.

Everyone who worked there was lovely and helpful and were willing to make sure you had whatever you needed. Breakfast was delicious and we could eat on the balcony if there was room which was a great vantage for people watching! Air conditioning is powerful!

What an amazing stay! We loved the location. Right in the middle of Sorrento. We also really enjoyed the breakfast and the beautiful view from the balcony! The rooms where soo cute and the Staff was Wonderful! We absolutely loved every moment at Palazzo Starace! Thank you soo much!
